Classes
The South East Neighbourhood Centre runs English, Tai Chi, Art and
Sewing classes.
Counselling
Helping you to work out issues and problems with professional
therapists.
Home Visiting
Help with shopping, banking, paying bills, companionship, escorting you
to medical and social appointments for the frail aged, people with
disabilities and their carers.
Information
Providing you with knowledge about services, agencies and anything else
you need to know or want to know. The Neighbourhood Centre will help
you to find out things.
Group Outings
Social bus trips and outings for the frail aged, people with
disabilities and their carers.
Multicultural Support
Translated and interpreted information, support, casework, advice and
advocacy for people from culturally and linguistically diverse
backgrounds.
Referrals
The Neighbourhood Centre will help you to find the right service and
access that service by contacting them for you.
Respite Care
The Neighbourhood Centre can give carers a break, to rest or run
errands by looking after the person they are caring for until they
return.
Support Groups
People who come together with the same interests to talk, help and work
things out at the Neighbourhood Centre.
Transport
Shopping, library and social trips for the frail aged, people with
disabilities and their carers on an individual and group basis.
Volunteers
A volunteer is someone who freely offers their time, talent, skills and
energy to others and to their community through individual and
collective action without expectation of financial reward. You can be a
volunteer at the Neighbourhood Centre.
